The Skyway Foundation organizes amazing party's for deaf people and Kleurbleur is proud that it was part of it.
We visualized the music, not only through vj'ing and video installations but also through text jockeying, a term thought up by Skyway and Kleurbleur. Text jockeying is projecting lyrics of a song on a screen so that deaf people can better understand what the song is about.
The lyrics are placed as a dynamic subtitle during the concert as they follow the music by moving to the beat, changing color with animated backgrounds, etc. This way the hearing impaired have an idea of how the lyrics should feel in the context of the music.

We did several editions over the last years which include Sencity Rotterdam, 5 Days Off, Sencity London, Sencity Sao Paulo and Sencity Dublin. In some occasions we provided the installation, light jockey, text jockey and vj for the whole event.
